They say as parents we are the biggest influence on our children. While I believe this to be only half true (my children are also a big influence on myself as well) it indeed still holds a truth. Children like to mimic things their parents do, wear and in just “like” in general. Understanding the concept I’m touching on here, Drink-Markers has taken this age-old truth and designed one of today’s most popular items both children and adult friendly.
We’ve all seen the wine glass charms available to mark your drink, but what if you don’t drink wine? This is where Drink-Markers steal the show. They have developed a product to which children (and adults for that matter) can be included in this fashion “have-to” of the summer. These markers do not need to be around a piece of stemware such as for wine, cocktails, etc. and they are just as reusable as well. They can be used on any can, bottle, glass, and many more items for use you and your children’s drinks.
These little markers are small sticky icons (static-cling or suction cups), which you will find in almost shape and size your heart desires. You’d have to see them all to believe it but to name a few would be seasons, holidays, little high-heels, bunnies, dogs, jewels, phrases, cars, and many more.
In order to see a group of children’s response to our new little Drink-Marker, I asked my daughter if she would take the one sent to us and use it to mark her drink at a Barbeque we were attending. She willingly obliged and had I known what would follow in the next hour or so I would have made sure I ordered 10 prior to testing. We showed up and she instantly went and got something to drink from one of the coolers. After choosing, she put her bunny drink marker on and set her drink proudly on the table. Child after child wanted to know if they could have one, what “kinds” did I have, and can I please get them one. It was a smash hit! They then made up a silly game of if they could choose a Drink-Marker just for them what it would be. They had all kinds of great ideas for each other. We must have heard at least 50 “No Fair!” exclamations that day and after I’d gotten a reaction to document from the children I then put the Drink-Marker back on its original paper (they reusable) and saved it for a later date.
